Where will my video be posted?
All submitted videos will be posted on our YouTube page (youtube.com/street2screen). The winning video(s) will be featured in the end credits of RUN. Selected videos will be featured on Street2Screen and RUN’s social media sites throughout the competition and leading up to the release of the film.
Can I work in teams?
Yes, group work is encouraged. The maximum number of team
members is five per submission. Each member of the team must be
18 or over.
How long should my video be?
Video submissions should be between thirty and ninety seconds. Optionally, you may add an additional thirty seconds to tell us about yourself.
How is the winner chosen?
The winning video will be selected based on the highest total number of “likes” on the Street2Screen YouTube channel as of 11:59 PM on October 31, 2012.
Who will see my video?
Before posting videos on the Street2Screen YouTube channel, the submissions team will review all entries to make sure they are eligible. Once posted they’ll be available to the public. Your video will get more views and “likes” if you share it on your social media sites with family and friends.
Do I need to be a professional traceur or freerunner to compete?
No, traceurs and freerunners of all ages and levels are encouraged to participate.
How do I submit my video?
The first step of the submission process is to complete a submission form on our website. After you’ve sent us your submission form, you need to send us your video via a file-sharing site, such as yousendit.com or dropbox. Please send us the highest resolution video you have available.
How will I know if my video won?
We will contact the winner of the competition after the voting period has ended. Announcements will also be made on Street2Screen’s social media sites.
Is there anything that shouldn’t be in my video?
Absolutely no copyrighted or trademarked material, including but not limited to music, brands, and logos. These videos are intended for all ages, so no profanity.
